In 2012 I shot 366 portraits, starting on the 1st of January and finishing on the 31st of December. That’s one shoot per day, every day before midnight, for a whole year, without missing a day. I learnt a lot that year, but the relentless nature of the process damn near killed me.
This year I’ve endeavoured to shoot a series of unpaid portraits as part of an “artistic growth” process. A much less taxing project, and one which opens itself up to more creativity, with more room for artistic expression. Follow me this year on my journey of portrait experiences.
